An all-new lubricants delivery, storage and packaging facility was recently brought on-line with help from Highland Tank. The custom designed facility features single-wall horizontal UL-142 labeled storage tanks. The facility required storage for a wide range of lubricating products. To accommodate this need and maximize the usable space, Highland Tank designed, fabricated and delivered seven 10,000-gallon tanks, each split into two 5,000-gallon compartments. This design provides fourteen separate storage tanks to handle the variety of products supplied by energy supplier. The tank design also included extra height saddles to accommodate the complex piping system needed for fluids delivery from bulk transport and to packaging stations. Additionally, each compartment was fitted with an external visual site gauge to provide quick and easy level detection.
