| Highland Tank's Vertical storage tanks are becoming more popular in new biofuel applications. High-ethanol fuels, such as E85, have different material and handling recommendations than gasoline, diesel and even low-ethanol fuels like E10. Vertical tanks are ideal solutions the handling requirements for these increasingly popular biofuels. Vertical tanks are available in single-walled or double-walled, 100% secondary containment configurations and are manufactured from low-carbon steel, per publications from the Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the Renewable Energy Association concerning the storage of ethanol blended fuels. The high quality of Highland Tank's vertical tanks make them prefect for storing E85 fuel compared to containers fabricated from fiberglass reinforced plastic and other less robust materials. |
